Maintenance Information
The car has spent most of its life in Houston, Texas where I purchased it in March of 2014. I have a fairly complete maintenance history file that was passed on to me. Most of the recent maintenance has been performed by well known and respected mechanics within the NSX community. When I got to Utah I took the car to the leading NSX mechanic in town to have TB/WP and hoses replaced and he said that everything looked fresh and that I would be throwing money down the drain to do it right now. My mechanic in Houston told me that TB/WP and all hoses were replaced in 2010 at 36,000 miles. I replaced the brake pads 2,000 miles ago and have replaced the oil every 6 months or 1,500 miles since my ownership. Clutch has another 6-10K miles per the latest inspection by my mechanic.
I have included copies of a recent CarFax and AutoCheck report at the links above.
NOT IN SNAP RING RAGE - I have included a picture of the transmission number at the link above showing that it is not in the dreaded snap ring range that some of the early coupes had to deal with.
Details
Interior: Bolster wear is very minimal on the driver's side. No wear on the passenger side. The radio works but on a cold start the volume knob has some static when it is turned. Turn it a few times and it goes away. This is a replacement head unit from another NSX. The original succumbed to the usually problem. My plan was to send the original to Williamson to have it retrofitted for bluetooth, iPod etc. I like his work as it preserves the original OEM look but brings it up-to-date in terms of technology. The windows have been regreased but they are not lightning fast. I have definitely seen a lot slower but the hugga bugga kit would be great here. I do have the window thingy's but haven't installed them yet. The climate control works fine but the thermostat probably needs to be adjusted to blow hotter on the cold days. A/C is plenty cold. I have the original mats which show some wear but not bad. Right now I have Zanardi mats with the red piping. Been using those for about a year and half.

Exterior: The paint looks great. A year ago I had a very skilled detailer do a three stage paint correction after the cover I used to travel with left some unsightly surface imperfections. I am a paint snob so I hate bad paint, especially on a black car. I also had him apply CQuartz Finest which gives it a deep glossy look. You can see from the pictures I have attached. That being said, I did repaint the front nose and right front fender to account for some paint chips and a scratch. The prior owner also had to repaint the rear passenger quarter panel due to a detailer who lost control of a circular buffer and gouged the paint. With the paint correction and CQuartz, the paint looks great all over the car. I just replaced the windshield. Didn't need to but the weather stripping above had shrunk and was wavy and in order to replace that I had to replace the entire windshield. I have a stealth SOS front license plate bracket that allows you to tuck the front license plate up into the nose of the car. Love it. The car is currently tinted. I want to replace the tint though for registration purposes and to correct for a couple spots that bug me (i.e. pealing in the top corner on passenger window). It also has a shorty antenna. I have the original antenna.

Wheels, Tires, Suspension: I currently have 97' wheels on the car. They are in good condition 7/10. They could probably use a refinish to look 10/10. I have a set of “fat 5” original wheels provided by the prior owner. I also have spacers on the front and rear to provide the desired stance. Not too aggressive but just shy of flush. Currently running Dirreza's for tires. Have about 50% tread up front and I have ordered a new set of rears that will come with the car. I currently run BC Racing Coilovers and the car is lowered 1.25". I have the original suspension but when I bought the car it had Tein S springs so I don’t have the original springs. The right front coil is a bit noisy but Joe seemed to think replacing the top hat would do the trick.

Engine/Exhaust: The engine is completely stock unless you count the cold air intake. I do not have the stock intake box. The car currently has Comptech exhaust (sounds great). I do not have the original exhaust but good examples can be still be found on the used market.

I have no problem representing this as a very good example of an early coupe.
