For Sale: abeautiful, meticulously renovated 1993 Acura NSX.Whilethe car has had four owners,thiscar has an interesting provenancethat makes it highly sought after: The second owner was MGM Studios and the car was part of their stable to be used for their Fast and Furious 2 fleet.The NSX was painted in an iridescent blue, decaled, and augmented with Wings West body panels, front hood and roof top air scoops, and an after-market rear foil. It was sold along with other vehicles from the movie at an auction in the mid-2000s (see auction flyer included in the photographs).

Purchaser was an elderly gentleman in Phoenix.We subsequently purchased the car from his estate in 2016.The paint had not stood up to the sun at all well, however, we have restored the car to its original profile, removing the extra foils and scoops, made new modifications to the OEM sill fairings, a new paint (Red Torch, not Formula 77) with black and smoke accents, and used many new OEM parts. The paint and body work was done by Jim Michaud who is a nationally recognized, award winning painter.

We have retained all the fairings and they are available if the purchase wishes to restore the car to its MGM configuration.Note that the transmission serial number is beyond the problematic slip-ring range. Receipts show that the belt changes and valve work were done at 113,000.The most recent servicing was performed by Science of Speed.

The only items that stop this car from being perfect are that the rear window tint was done by Arizona Window Tint and needs some clean up and the ABS needs to be serviced.We have a replacement unit if needed.

This car is fast and handles the road meticulously.It is a unique car; we now know it well, and have every confidence in its robust engineering and suitability as an everyday driver or as a show car.We would love to keep it in our collection, but we just have too many cars and the boss has said at least four of them, including the NSX, have to go.
