1984 Alfa GTV6 - Italian Sports Coupe
Description
1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6
Garage-kept Italian beauty! Custom exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. Driving this car is a very visceral experience. With the manual rack-and-pinion steering and the 50-50 weight balance, it's pure joy being behind the wheel.
I would consider it to be a nice driver-quality car. It has been repainted and is very glossy, though there is a scratch on the passenger side fender and a some nicks on the hood. The body is solid, with only one small spot of corrosion on the passenger side inner front fender well. The front seats have been recovered in leather and the back seats are original. Overall, the interior is good. The clock, tach, temp & oil guages, and lights all work. A Garmin GPS is installed in the speedometer pod for navigation and speed.
Engine has been maintained and runs well. Transmission and clutch are working properly, though it does require the fairly typical "wiggle" to engage 2nd gear. I suspect the shifter linkage needs adjustment. Front brakes use high performance rotors and work well. Tires look virtually new, though one has a slow leak. Heater functions properly. No A/C. The starter will occasionally not engage on the first try, but it always starts. I will include a used starter. The battery was recently replaced.
I've tried to describe the car as accurately as possible, but please ask questions before you bid. This is a great car, but it is 32 years old, so it is sold as is and without any warranty or guarantee.
