Description

According to the Fusi book, chassis number AR241325 is #1323 of 14,207 1966 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce's built between 1965-1967.
This classic Step Nose GTV restoration project has rusted floors and rockers. It was stripped/dipped to bare metal, many years ago (original color unknown) and the body shell was rolled outside on this custom rolling stand about two years ago. That's where it remained to collect its patina of rust.
The hood, doors and trunk lid were stored indoors. They are very straight with minor rust holes. I was pleasantly surprised how well they lined up, after simply cleaning the threads and bolting them on. It's never been wrecked.
The chassis is amazingly straight, making panel replacement pretty straight forward. With the upper body shell thinned by chemistry and oxidation, this GTV is a Super Leggero (Lightweight).
Kidding aside... the Step Nose is an excellent platform for a vintage race, or modified street / track car, that's worthy of a first class build.
Properly restored (or just storing it away for now), this car will continue to appreciate.
The factory dash mounting points have been cut away. The tail light holes have been cut out, in an effort to mount 1972-74 tail lights. Don't let the inner headlight mounts fool you either. They have been tack welded in and are easily removed.
The glass windscreens are in pretty good condition, with rotten rubber holding the aluminum trim. The front and rear side vent glasses are also in good condition. Both door glasses have vertical scratches from rolling up and down.
The rear fiberglass fender flares have been tacked on with a few sheet metal screws. They are older reproductions.
The only other trim that's included are the headlight rings, grille (not a step nose grille) and the stainless door sills.
The chassis mount has new casters and moves about perfectly smooth.
The last picture is just for inspiration.
This is a very accurate summary, from a life long Alfisti.

It's pretty easy to find me (Todd Spruell), Alfa Romeo, Tucker GA, Spruell Motorsport, 3.5verde, if you need more information or pictures.
Good luck.
This car deserves preservation.
