Up for Sale is a really beautiful 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina. Pretty rare car here in the US, and not too many made in production. Has 79,246Km on the odometer which is 49,000 miles. These models came with 4 wheel disc brakes, a bigger 2.0 engine, 5 speed gearbox, and were regarded as one of the fastest 4-door sedans back then. Car is a blast to drive to the shows or keep has an investment. It's been in a private collection and is now for sale.
The Alfa 2000 Berlina has various options such as power brakes, Brown interior, 5-speed transmission, Heater, wood grain trim, disc brakes, Radio, center clock gauge, factory aluminum woodgrain steering wheel, 8,000rpm tachometer, dual carbs, propane tank in the rear, full spare tire, and etc.….The Alfa 2000 is powered by it's 2.0L Twin Cam engine with dual Dellorto carburetors. This car moves pretty quick!
These sedans were noted for lively handling and impressive acceleration among small European four-door sedans of their era, especially considering modest engine sizes offered. When you are driving in this 1973 Alfa 2000 there is a certain sense of nostalgia that you cannot help but notice. The classic dash and classic looking gauges makes you feel like it is an authentic classic car, but then you get on the throttle and feel the immediate response of a sports car.
The interior is super nice brown upholstery throughout, and contrast well to the oem factory “French blue” color. All the windows roll up and are very nice. The chrome throughout the interior is in excellent shape, including the little gauges. Woodgrain trim all the way around including an extra oil and water temperature gauges located in the center dash. All the door jams are really nice. All exterior chromes are in tip top shape!
This car is in excellent condition and very comfortable & fun to drive. You'd better get used to a crowd forming around you with this car wherever you go. The Body is straight as an arrow.
