Description
Offered for sale is a 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint; an original car currently with the second owner from new. This car has been well maintained but never “restored”. It still carries the original paint and interior. Initially manufactured on April 13th,1964 at the old Alfa Portello Works in Milan, it was sold to the first owner on May 18th, 1964 in Washington D.C.In exceptional original condition; this car has been maintained by its second and currentowner for over 40 years. It has been well maintained mechanically, runs well, and has recently had a brake system refurbishment and fuel system work to keep it in excellent running order. It can be driven anywhere at any time with no muss and no fuss.A stickler for straight and uncompromising detail and the purity of original factory manufacturing expression; the current owner has not modified the car in any way. It exists today exactly as delivered from Milan to D.C. when it was new over 50 years ago.Alfa Romeo only made 1280 Giulietta Sprints in 1964; the last and final year of production of this lovely model. This car is an unmolested “time capsule” representation of this seminal car. This has to be one of the most original 1300 end-of-production Sprints left in the world, and as such is a rare opportunity to acquire a low production number of the ground-breaking beautiful Giulietta Coupe from Alfa Romeo – makers of the world’s greatest sports cars.
