1983 Alfa Spider with low miles

Description

I am selling my 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce after several years of ownership because I have bought another Alfa, (Giulia) and want to concentrate my efforts on that.

The car has 54,000 miles and runs great! It has new brakes, new Master Cylinder and Booster, S/S brake lines, a rebuilt suspension using the Alfaholics fast road kit, (Springs, Shocks, bushings, sway bar), also new ball joints, tie rod ends. A new exhaust system with the uprated 2 piece manifolds from the earlier Alfa's new pipes, muffler, and a stinger exhaust pipe. I have also added Rota wheels and brand new, (less than 500 miles) BF GoodrichG-Force Comp 2tires, (rated very highly). It does have the typical Alfa syncro issues but with careful shifting is not a problem. The convertible top is in good shape. and the seats need to be re-covered as the leatherhas dried and cracked.

This auction is for the car with the current new wheels and tires. I will discount the final price by $1,000.00 if the buyer prefers the original alloys, (could use to be refinished but otherwise in good shape) and the Pirelli P4's (185x70x14, also in very good shape about three years old with maybe 10,000 miles on them)

The car runs great, handles fantastically, and is a real pleasure. It has been very reliable and fun to drive.

The Good:

Strong Motor, (compression is 150 +/- 5 psi in each cylinder)

Great suspension -he Alfaholics kit is fabulous, and with these wheels and tires it is even more so!

Very good brakes

Good top, wind deflector, oil pan guard

NO RUST

The Bad:

some paint fade on the trunk and the hood

some small dings, (a paintless dent guy can handle)

typical Alfa tired syncro's need careful shifting

Seats are dry and cracked, need to be re-covered, (see photos)

A/C runs cool but not cold.
