Description

This is an absolutely gorgeous, perfectly running 91 Alfa base Spider. I bought one new in 1991 and can see virtually no difference in that one after using it for a year or so, and this one. I bought the car seen here in a fit of nostalgia, but I unexpectedly purchased several other cars at the same time. Sadly, due to lack of space, this one must be sold.
The 1991 Spider marks the final incarnation of the model, and Pininfarina's redesign of the body was highly praised at the time. Color coordinated bumpers took the place of the tacked on rubber spoilers of the 80s and the trunk lid's subtle flip upward won universal praise. Recently, Hemming Motor News did a feature on the '91—94 Spiders, calling the car a "soulful modern classic." Today's values were placed between $7500 and $17,500. You will see plenty of other Alfas, but few would compare to this one, and it is being offered within the lower range of Hemmings' values.
As to condition, the photos speak for themselves. The car was pampered and garaged throughout its life and condition reflects that. Note the top, which is virtually perfect. The interior is excellent original leather. New tires with less than 100 miles on them and a new rear axle back exhaust. No rust, no dents. Just a few front road chips that have been filled with touch up paint. (Custom-mixed touch up paint and top finish are included). Also included is the original manual and case, and a work book of sorts. The car isn't perfect, but it is the nicest 91 Alfa I've seen after looking at them for years.at just over 68,000 miles, it is a genuine, well-cared for driver, not one that has been dolled up or altered by a dealer.
Car is located just south of Richmond, Virginia, easily accessible to Interstates 85 and 95, and can easily be driven home any distance.
