Description

This auction is for a very clean 1969 Alfa Romeo Boattail Spider. The Boattail is virtually rust fee with no apparent collision damage. The driver side floor appears solid with no rust evidence; jack points are also looking solid all around. The driver side floor had some patch repairs toward the front footwell. The trunk lit, the trunk wheel well, and gas tank surround are intact evidencing the excellent condition of the car. There are a few rust bubbles on the rockers but nothing serious with only one side with a few more rust bubbles than the other sides as seen on photos.
The engine is a European 2litre engine with European induction system. Additionally, I have a complete maintenance record for this car as the previous owner was very meticulous about caring for the car. The car comes with a very rare set of ultra light Cromadora wheels, new top, tires, excellent paint job, and great interior. The car is priced to sell below of what I have seen similar cars being offered for over the course of the year under different sales outlets. For any specific questions, I can be reached at 972-849-6306. I will be happy to assist. The car is available for viewing locally in the Dallas area.

I need to make a clarification on the vehicle engine size: I erroneously pointed out the existing engine on the car as a Europen 2litre engine. Upon verification of the engine serial number it has been confirmed that the existing engine number of AR00536*S10556 corresponds to a 1972 Sprint Zagato model. I do however and to make a period correct 1750 engine as a core at no additional cost to the winning bidder. Sorry for the confusion. Currentbidders might find the newly disclosed information materially enough to drop their bids or would or may choose to forgo further interest.
