1987 ALFA ROMEO GRADUATE SPIDER
We have lovingly cared for this 1987 Spider Graduate for the past 8 years. It is creamy yellow in color, (although Alfa calls this color Almond.) It has a Saddle colored interior, and a Black soft top. The original soft top was vinyl, but we replaced it in 2013 with a quality, Haartz cloth top that looks and fits just great.

The body and paint on this car is exceptional. The finish is all original with the exception of the right front fender. It was done prior to our purchasing the car and it was done to a very high standard. The interior is in good shape, as can be seen in the photos. There are minor cracks in the dash. The seats, door panels and carpets are more than presentable. Sure, there’s a little fading in the brown carpeting here and there.

Mechanically, this Spider is sound. It starts right up with no smoking and has lots of power and runs very smoothly. It is a blast to drive; shifting is effortless. The synchros feel good.

We have enjoyed this car immensely over the years, but it’s time to move on. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy life with Alphonse as much as my dad has. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. While this is not a show car, it is an above average daily driver. The A/C has not worked since we bought it, and no, we never cared about it enough to look into what it needs. Figure worst case scenario. The only other area worthy of criticism is the lack of an original radio. There is an aftermarket unit in the dash, but dad preferred to listen to the sweet sounds of the motor and exhaust notes!
