1969 AMC AMX 290 4spd
Description
Great project car, 1969 AMX. Unusual car, with low production numbers (619). It's originally a 290 4spd car, although the engine and transmission are gone.No cancer in this car at all. Good floors, trunk, quarter panels, etc.The passenger side quarter panel has been hit. The bodywork has been roughed in, but will need finish work. A piece from a donor car is included to complete the repair (fender extension area). The passenger front fender also had some damage, but it has been straightened as well. The rest of the body is in excellent condition. This car has a complete interior, with seats, all dash parts, and all plastic trim.Door panels are there, but have holes cut in them. Armrests are there, too.The 4 speed pedal assembly is there, but again, the transmission is gone. The brake system is complete, but they don't work at this time. I assume it needs wheel cylinders, bled, etc.The gauges have the sought after tachometer.Floorshift steering column, non-tilt.All glass is good. Door glass needs glued into the tracks. It will be shipped loose with the car.All the exterior trim is very nice, although the trim on the front edge of the hood is missing. The frame/structure under the car is very solid, no evidence of rust. The wheels are the correct 1969 AMC Magnum, with nice trim rings and caps. The tires hold air, but are old (the car was last licensed in 1992).Clear Oregon title.
