1969 Big Bad Green AMX Automatic 390 V8 315 twin Grip Rear. Correct Paint Code 4A One of 284 BBG Cars produced in 1969
Correct original rebuilt 390 V8 engine, with small cam topped off with Edelbrock Part numbered R4B intake and 650 edlebrock Carb with electric Choke ( For more modern Driveabillity) . Rebuilt M-12 Automatic Borg-warrner Trans, including Torque Converter. Rear end is Factory 3:15 twin Grip with new torque link bushings and leaf springs,
Interior repaired or Replaced by owner and/or Legendary Interiors . New Door panels,seats by Legendary. Crash pad by Just dashes. New Headliner & sail panels. Restored Dash,center console and steering wheel. Clock and am-8track have been restored to working condition.
Correct Space saver spar, jack and bottle with proper tools and hold downs
All Brakes are New including Lines pads wheel cylinders and Booster/master cylinder. Converted to more modern front disc brakes (Kelsy Hayes brake system)
Front Suspension is Totally new. Ball joints, bushings tie rod ends, and Trunions, only thing re-used was the the Springs and they were in excellent condition.
The list of NOS and New parts that were used on this car exceeds the owners memory and far too many to list.
Body and Paint was done by a well known Shop with years of experience. Base/clear correct BBG paint was used and the Factory Black stripe was painted on rather than using decals
This was the Best of show winner at Gettysburg AMO National Convention receiving the Richard A Teague Award
