Thank you for taking the time to view this 1972 AMC Matador Wagon. This Matador Wagon is a one owner, rust free California car. The car was on the road up until 2013 before being put in storage (Car comes with documentation to prove this.) The odometer reads 65,890 miles. It is powered by AMCs 360ci (5.9L) V8, mated to a Torque Command automatic transmission. It has factory power front disc brakes, power steering, and Air Conditioning (working). The paint appears to be factory Grasshopper Green color, with green interior. The exterior has one minor dent in the front passenger fender with minor touch-up paint, that was caused when the trucking company delivered the car out of storage. The remainder of the outside is in excellent condition. The interior is in near perfect condition, with one small split on the driver bolster, and a few small cracks in the interior plastics. All aspects of the car function as they should. This wagon is ready to be a stock cruiser, or turned into a show winning custom with little investment needed!
1972 was the first year of AMC's new Matador line, based off of the same platform as the previous year’s iconic Rebel. The Matador Wagon offers comfortable seating for 8 thanks to its 3rd row seat. Both rear rows also fold down flat to offer the option of a huge cargo space. It also comes equipped with the two-way tailgate that can open flat like a tailgate with power rear glass, or sideways like a door. The factory hubcaps and roof rack really complete the awesome 70's wagon look!
