Description

For sale and your consideration is a virtually one owner true survivor and very solid & genuine 1973 AMC Javelin.85k miles. Car originally from the state of WA and owned by same family until 2017 at which time I purchased it. It has been garaged kept and maintained by local area muscle car mechanic for over 40+ years experience so it is right as rain mechanically and needs nothing in terms of engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and exhaust. Floor pans all solid as is trunk bottom and frame solid. Some small corrosion in typical spots on rear windshield corners (see pic) and small hole on right bottom of panel under door (see pic) but these are all common for a 45 year old original that has not been restored. Left rear lower quarter panellooks to be replacedat some point many years ago but looks great and shows well. At some point there was an old re-paint of the car but it has been many decades ago. A buffing would bring more of the color out which has faded. Some bubble spots on driver door but again minimal.

Below are more details:
- Auto, console shift with 304 engine with rare original motor ID tag still attached showing date of engine
- E7 copper paint colorwith black vinyl roof in excellent shape
- New tires with original hub caps onwheels
- New battery, new shocks, and engine completely detailed and gone through & checked and good as NEW
- VIN tag & door tags all intact
- Original interior and in very clean condition - carpet good and seats excellent except for common slight tear on driver seat bottom (see pic), passenger and rear seat perfect
- Spare tire in trunk

- All lights work and function - will need a bulb replacement for dash at some point
- Clock works sporadically and would need oiled - missing reset knob which is common
- One set of keys and includes owners manual, shop manual and brochure - all original period items
- No leaks of any kind from engine bay or transmission
- Set of OH 1973 plates included
- AM original radio which works
- A/C but needs a charge, will work but do not use it
- Headliner excellent and very clean, all windows function great
- Some of interior plastic faded to years of sun and sitting but could be brought back with some work
- Center consoleintact

-Rear left reverse lens has hairline cracks but still intact and fully operable, have replacement lens but not installed
Needs some small things cosmetically to make perfect. Runs extra strong and can drive it anywhere, recent oil change and tune-up also. I am trying to be very honest on this car and point out the plus and minuses so there are no surprises. Runs top notch and gets lots of attention and needs really just some body work and minor repair to make near perfect.
