1967 AMC Ambassador DPL

Trailer park carport find.This Gold with white vinyl top 1967 Ambassador DPL has the 343 4bbl Typhoon engine with dual exhaust.Factory A/C,power steering,power drum brakes.The car is completely original with the exception of solid chrome magnum 500 wheels w/knock off center caps.Air shocks.Previous owner added cruise control and extra brake light.The car runs excellent.It drives,shifts well and stops.It does not overheat.But the heater hose in the engine bay is looped.It has a power steering leak at the steering box snout.The right front brake sticks but i have new wheel cyl. and break shoes in the trunk.The car has the usual vinal top rust around the rear window but the trun, dutchman panel and floorboards are solid.The right side quarter panel appears to have been replaced and has a rust through at the top of the quarter and botom front of the wheel well.The cars passeger door appears to be stuck from not being used.I dont think any thing is broken I dont want to force it though.It has dings on the pass.side.The Ambassador and DPL emblems are missing on the passenger side and it has after market side mirrors.There is some pitting on the chrome and some of the top chrome is in the trunk.The interior is complete but has some wear thru in some spots and the seat foam is dried out and pushing.though seat frame and ends up on the floor.The carpet has worn through on pass. side.As you can see the interior is very unique.The car definitely needs restoration but deserves it.I am now desabled and the car is too big a project for me.I lost my covered storage.So I want to see the car go to some one who has the means to put it right.The car still has alot of pep.I wasnt sure how long it sat so I Pickled the motor with Marvel mystery oil.It has delo 400 diesel oil in it now.(cam).After running i, it compression tested around 185 on all 8.The a/c compressor turns freely and seems to have compression.The car comes with a box of period correct goodies and a new car cover in the box.It also comes with the correct air cleaner top.
