History: This AMX is powered by a 390ci engine with Go Pack, 4-speed manual transmission and 12 bolt rear. All-original, 9,549 original miles (mileage not indicated on ownership documents). It retains the original, dashboard and door panels. It has all-original paint except the hood and fender looks like it was touched up over 41 years ago. Finished in green with racing stripes and tan interior, the car has been in a garage for over 41 years. It was sold at Barrett-Jackson in January 2017 and the owner/collector’s shop went through the car giving it anything it needed. The best way to buy a car in my opinion.

Engine & Transmission: Mechanics were gone through on this car with new gas tank, gas tank float for fuel gage, muffler, radiator, tires, hoses, brakes, fuel pump, brake lines, thermostat, carb rebuilt, clutch, vacuum line, wheel bearings, etc. Everything a car would need after sitting. Now it is very well sorted. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts as new. This is a nice example that is ready to drive and enjoy.

Body: The body is in original condition, it has a few areas where the failed paint (see photographs). Great glass and all panels are straight with excellent gaps.

Interior: The interior is a time machine, dash and dials are extremely well preserved. The original carpet presents very well. The seats were refreshed with new pads. This cars interior is in great shape and is a big part of enjoying the driving experience.

Summary: This is asolid unmolested example of a classic that is ready for road use. A lot of time and energy was spent on this car after it was sold at Barrett-Jackson. This example is perfect for cruising during the week and taking to car shows on the weekend. A great car that is a blast to drive.
