AMC always did things a little differently, and for those who pay attention, the rewards can be huge. For example, this is the first year for the now-legendary Javelin coupe. Add in the SST premium package and Kenosha's legendary low production numbers, and you've got a cool classic example of rare American muscle (only around 26,000 were produced.) But the coupe's desirability goes beyond just rarity. The original shade of Turbo Silver has been treated to a professional respray that gives this precious the metal a superb shine in sunlight.
