Description

1959 AMC Rambler Super 6 Cross Country Station Wagon
inherited from auto restorer with too many cars to finish
I have personally used this classic vehicle for the past 12 months as my daily driverI won "Peoples Choice" award at classic car show in 2018This is the perfect vehicle for full restoration
The good:
Engine is an in-line 6 cylinder 196 cubic inches, rebuilt from top to bottomTransmission is 3-speed on the column standard shift, rebuilt in January 2019Completely stock and unmolestedAll the glass is thereAll the trim is thereRuns, drives and stopsVacuum wiper motor NOS purchased 2019All lights work (except for dome light)good tiresheater and defroster workcomplete roof rackRadio delete-antenna deleteClassic head turner on the street and showsVery high demand as station wagons are
The bad:Windshield has crack (not in field of vision)typical rust on body of 60 year old carsome rust underneath of unibodyrust and patches on floorpangas gauge reads full all the timeparking brake cable inoperablespeedometer inoperablehorn does not workThe reclining front seat needs recovering as previous restorer never got around to it.
I would be open to partial trades plus cash. I am looking for a 1st generation Chevy S-10 pick up truck, old Ford, Dodge or rat rod.
disclaimer:
I have driven this car on long camping trips and it has never failed me. It is a 60 year old vehicle. You can expect certain things to happen to it as with all automobiles.
This is an automobile that seeks someone who wants a classic car that is rarely seen. I will entertain offers from all interested. Foreign parties are welcomed as this vehicle is in high demand on the European continent and Asia. It is not currently registered or insured in the USA. I will however drive it onto a car carrier for shipping. All other transportation arrangements will be the responsibility of winner.
One of a kind.
