1972 AMC Javelin SST 360, 4-bl, Auto, Optioned

Description

A 1972 AMCJavelin SSTwith 360, 4-bl, factory dual exaust in Trans Am Red exterior with black cloth (courd.) interior. Other options include A/C, P/S, P/DB, Tilt wheel, Vinyltop, Bumper gaurds, Heavy duty cooling,Visibility group.

The car was sold at a repo auction. Has 75k original miles and has sat in a virtual time warp for 20 years but parkedoutside.

The good: A fairly well optioned car with rare tilt wheel and factory dual exaust. The interior panels and trim arein pretty nice shape. Most everything has not been monkeyed with over the years. Clear title. Only rust is a small bit at the front of the battery tray. The hood is pretty nice but not on the car because the hinges are frozen. Still has the original 4-bl. carb with tag.

The bad: Needs total restoration. Not running. Besides the obvious body damage, the windshield is cracked, the left upper door hinge is broken, the right side door is warped beyond repair. Seats and carpet need to be redone. Some parts missing here and there. No keys.

I do have an excellent drivers door from a '74 Javelin that goes with the car. The tires are in good shape.
