This car iscompletelyUn Restored.., except previousmaintenance. This is a very rare car which have now become a car for collectors. The current cars for sale, a total of 4 Cars in the U.S most similar to this car are at 12,400, then 19K, 3500 for a car with half of the front end gone. So condition base, research and rarity, with overall conditionwe believe it holds right there with the other cars for over 10K.
We are going to list the car at it's current state, it has not been buffed yet etc. I have personally drove the car for a round trip over 40 minutes with no issues, the cars power disk brakes work, the power steering works, the clock works, lights..hor, radio sounds great..,etc. AC blows but not cold, and as any car in itsconditionI would replace the tires. If the car does not sell for a price we can agree on; we will do more to the car such as, completely detail and touch up the car; at that point the car will cost more. I would do a full tune up which most likely will be completed with the current sale along with oil change and what not.The interior of the car is in incredible shape, the headliner is amaterielthat looks like velvet, in veryexcellentcondition, no sags. Only areas that need repair - the driver side seat has a split on the seam andpassenger side carpet in the front, it's worn. Also, a crack in the dashboard on the speaker vent. No rusted out pans or panels on the car.
SOME INFORMATION FROM THE WEB
The 1967-1969 AMC Ambassador DPL and SST 2-doors were the successors to the straight-edge 1965-1966 Ambassador. They featured swoopy lines designed by the late AMC design director Dick Teague in the then-popular "Coke bottle" mode -- helped by a two-inch wheelbase stretch.Thetop-line SST 1969 AMC Ambassador was a smooth, powerful, well-proportioned sedan that did not look like anything else on the roadandstressed luxury. The Ambassador's small-block V-8s gave good performance, the base six good economy; both were sturdy and easily serviced. Other pluses included AMC's usual all-coil suspension with a new Hotchkiss-drive rear (replacing torque-tube), plus a low-profile top stack on the convert. Most of the 1967-1969 AMC Ambassador DPL and SST 2-doors were likely built with three-speed automatic (either Shift Command, with manual gear-hold, or conventional Flash-O-Matic, both basically Chrysler TorqueFlite), but three-speed, three-speed/OD, and four-speed manuals were available and are as desirable and rare now as the front disc brake option, especially with V-8.
Videos will be able to be seen on You Tube, copy and paste.
Options also are Power Disk Front Brakes with master cylinder and booster, SAFE COMMAND. A/C, power steering, tilt steering wheel, radio, wood grain...cigarette lighter works and appears to be like new like the car. Due to timeand weather the things you see happened. This car touched up then buffed will glow!!!
