1965 AMC Rambler American 440 2DR Hardtop

Description

1965 AMC Rambler American 2 door hard top 232 inline six with automatic trans.
Car has new tires and a decent spare. Has new carburator and runs with no knocks and no smoke. The sending unit in the tank will have to be changed as it will only pull gas from a container. (gas tank smells like gas....not rotten and no rust. I suspect the screen on the sending unit is clogged from sitting with old gas. The car will run and drive (trans goes into all gears) but it is missing a bracket to connect the hurst shifter cable to the linkage on the transmission. Brakes work and has keys......VERY nice project for someone who wants to drive while they fix up the car. Front windshield is broken....remaining glass is in very good shape. Will need interior
