This is a New Mexico car from birth and has no rust. It's also never been in a major accident. The car runs and drives and was driven up to 2013. Under the hood is an MC code engine from an '87 Turbo Quattro and I converted the gearbox to a 5 speed some years ago. The car has typical sun damage to the interior and I accidentally broke the back glass on a cold morning some years ago. The car is kept under tarp for that reason. I have the contact information for a vintage glass supplier in New Jersey that can obtain the glass.
The vehicle comes with 11 crates of parts (last two photos). The crate covered with the blue top contains the original automatic transaxle, exhaust pieces and a host of other parts. The plastic tubs contain trim components, switchgear, electrical parts, a new set of Autobahn fog lamps, instruments, mud flaps and many, many more spare parts. A set of special factory tools are included. The entire engine management control system for the MC engine (wiring harness, ECU, intake manifold, intercooler, etc.) is included. An extra grille and stainless trim are included. I have a complete replacement driver's seat and upper rear seat back with much better upholstery(seen on top of the crates). The car has a NEW battery and clean title.
Located near Dallas, Texas, I would like to see this car go to a true 5 cylinder enthusiast. I'm asking $1,000.00 for everything, but I'll negotiate to the right buyer. I need to move this old girl along, as I need the room.
