CASH ONLY-CASH ONLY-CASH ONLY!!!!! NO OTHER OPTIONS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!! ***VEHICLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OR FLATBED-- NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING- SOLD AS-IS DUE TO CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW. VEHICLE IS 30 YEARS OLD AND NO WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSED NOR IMPLIED*** 1986 AUDI 4000S-4 CYLINDER-1.8cc-FRONT WHEEL DRIVE-5speed MANUAL TRANSMISSION Vehicle has had technically 3 owners, however driving wise,::First ownership was from 0-35000 miles, transferred to me and driven from 35000 to present mileage . Up for auction is a 1986 Audi 4000s. It was my daily driver until 2 years ago. It died on me on the highway, I had to have a flatbed tow me home. At the time, it was snowing and 10 degrees out. The car was parked in my driveway until the winter ended. In April of 2015, I came to discover that the wire to the fuel pump (fuel pump is located on the frame rail under right passenger side was corroded and not giving a good contact and that is why the vehicle died on me. I was able to move the wire, got the vehicle started, went around the block so I could park it better to work on. Sad to say, I never got to get under it. Days became weeks, and weeks became months. Here we are 2 years later and I am still in the same boat. It is a 1986 Audi 4000 5 speed manual vehicle. Unfortunately, due to the vehicle sitting, the battery is dead,I am quite certain the brakes may need to be freed up. The car does chime when hooked to a battery pack, but the actual battery is too dead to take a charge. Along the years, I had the timing belt done. The clutch was done. Air conditioning as well as heater was working 2 years ago. Any misc relays or fuses were always replaced. The windows and locks worked. The radio is a Kenwood CD AM/FM player. The front window developed a crack from sitting in the elements. I have almost all records of everything that was done throughout the years. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. If any questions, please feel free to ask. i will let all the photos be your opinion on the vehicles condition. I have always babied the car and it saddens me that the last 2 years she has sat. The seats have always had covers on them. Rear seats can probaly be counted the times they have had passengers. The fold down rear seat rest shows how good the condition is. The dash has had a carpet cover. The tires hold air but they have been sitting in the elements. At this point, I would rather sell her to a lucky buyer rather than let more things go bad from sitting. The vehicle is being sold AS-IS. There are no warranties expressed nor implied. I am listing the vehicle as NOT RUNNING and for parts only based on the current conditions and the fact that it has not been driven on the road for almost 2 years. Any extra parts that i have, i will include in the sale. I am listing the vehicle as shown. I can not stress enough that the vehicle will need a 100% gone over to address any issues that occur when a vehicle sits for a long period of time. I am sure there will be other things that come to mind and will add any extra details as i remeber them. The main cause to get this vehicle started up, would be to rewire or splice any corroded fuel pump wires. If I was able to get this vehicle properly lifted, it would have been easier to fix the issue. i regret having it towed home. had i had it towed to my Audi repair shop, I am sure she would still have been driving today. I lived 8 miles from work and drove daily, and later lived 35 miles away from work and still used it as a daily driver. **VEHICLE IS LOCATED 1 HOUR NORTH OF MANHATTAN. EXIT 18 OFF OF INTERSTATE 84. ZIP CODE IS 10512. 15 MILES FROM CONNECTICUT BORDER. 25 MINUTES FROM NEWBURGH BEACON BRIDGE. 30 MINUTES FROM WESTCHESTER COUNTY AIRPORT. VEHICLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OR FLATBED. i WILL TRY TO ASSIST AS MUCH AS I CAN PHYSICALLY.*** I am requiring an immediate (within 24 hours) deposit of $100 to cover the Ebay fees upfront. Remainder of final winning price is accepted in CASH ONLY. PayPal IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR REMAINDER OF FINAL PRICE. On Nov-26-16 at 07:21:50 PST, seller added the following information:

**GOOD NEWS FOR THE PROSPECTIVE BUYERS/WATCHERS::::::::
This morning (Saturday), I hooked up a jumper back and immediately the door ajar chime sounded. The interior light illuminated ad well. I turned the key and all normal dash lights came on.
I failed to hear the normal whirring of the fuel pump.
With the key still in the ON position, I tried to feel around under the frame for the fuel pump.
Once I did, I shifted either the positive or negative wire ( couldn't see which one), and while it was brief, I did manage to hear the fuel pump white for a second or two.
