1956 Austin Healey BN2 Chassis
Orig. Black exterior - Red interior For your consideration is a 1956 Austin Healey BN2 Chassis which belonged to my father, a long time collector and Austin Healey enthusiast, acquired 30+ years ago. Originally solid black with a red interior, my father purchased this chassis in the SF Bay Area some years back. An original California car, it is solid throughout and would make a good basis to complete, or to repair a rusty Healey. This Healey was prepared for restoration, and the front and rear shrouds have been prepped for paint. Only the chassis, and the front and rear shroud are included in this auction. No evidence of accident damage. NO RUST! All geometry appears to be straight.
The CA Title as well as BMIHT (1988), and both ID plates are included with the vehicle. If you do not require either the VIN/Body plates or the shrouds, I would be happy to sell the chassis without at a discounted rate.
Condition: Please see photos. The shrouds are in good shape considering. No rust observed. The floors are original and solid, as are the frame rails and outriggers. The trunk floor is solid. I encourage inspection and I will be happy to answer any and all questions.Overseas buyers please contact me with any questions.
Delivery to a shipping agent of the winner's choice is available at cost. Transport to a shipping company is available for $200 through a local tow company. The chassis will come with the dolly it is resting on.
