Description

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE AD LISTING PAGE TO VIEW A COMPLETE SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLE**Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very original and unmolested BT-7 MK2 Roadster. This car was recently purchased from a local California enthusiast that was a long term owner. This car is an amazingly well-preserved original that has lived only in Arizona and California. Last registration to the car was in Arizona in 1974, as evidenced by it's original issue yellow and green AZ license plates and existing AZ title. The car appears to be mostly original paint or one thin respray. The miles are believed to be original. This car is a late Triple Carb also having the more desirable centershift transmission. The body on this car is extremely good for the car's age. Panel gaps are very good to excellent. The cars looks structurally superb with very little rust, being a Western states car. The door hinges are a little stiff from sitting. There is some typical minimal rust on the hood, trunk lid lower edge, and doglegs. The shrouds look excellent with a perfect undisturbed grille fit. Underneath the car looks extremely good with a great chassis, solid floors, inner rockers, outriggers, trunk, toe boards, etc.The car's interior trim is all present but weather-shot from years in the sunshine. The car is missing the detachable convertible softtop frame but includes the front header rail, original sidecurtains, and tonneau bar.The car still retains it's correct "29E" Triple Carb engine. The previous owner started some restoration work that involved removing the transmission and some mechanical items but the engine is still in place. The previous owner carefully boxed up all of the mechanical items and we haven't noticed anything missing. Were going to inventory the items, but we'll gauarantee the car to be very complete.Overall, a desirable Big Healey Triple Carburetor Roadster in a desirable color scheme that has never been restored. This was the last year produced for the side curtain model with the best looks and most horsepower from an impressive-looking engine bay. This car is a rare find being mostly original, extremely solid, and hugely untouched for all of these years, and would be an ideal restoration candidate for an easy "body-on" restoration or even a full Concours level rebuild.
