Description

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE AD LISTING PAGE TO VIEW A COMPLETE SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLE**Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this superb, very well restored, late production Bugeye Sprite. This car was recently purchased from a Canadian seller who spent a small fortune with a specialized local shop to create an exceptional car. This car has been thoughtfully upgraded with all of the accepted usual mechanical enhancements including a 1275 engine, headers, ribcase transmission, front disc brakes, and attractive minilite alloys with radial tires. The fit and finish on this car is extremely good all the way around. It runs and drives very well, and must be one of the best cars on offer on today's market. The body and paintwork on this car is super nice. It is entirely solid with no evidence of damage or rust. Paintwork is well above average for a Bugeye, with very nice flat panels with a beautiful, glossy, buffed and polished finish. Panel gaps and fit are excellent. The bonnet has been converted to the flip-forward configuration with reinforcements added, a nice touch. The doors and bonnet shut correctly. Chromework and brightwork has all been properly restored. The windshield is new.The car's interior has been completely retrimmed with a new panel kit, carpet kit, seats, trunk carpet, recovered dashboard, Robbins black quality soft top with a nice original sidecurtain set, custom and tasteful Motolita smaller steering wheel. The car's mechanicals are in keeoing with the rest of the car. The engine bursts easily to life with excellent oil pressure and no smoke or noises, and is very eager to pull out on the road. The gearbox shifts very well with a nice first gear. The rebuilt suspension is taught and firmly sprung, inspiring lots of confident driving and handling with it's grippy radial tires. This car can be pushed hard, and is great fun with it's "spritely" performance. It is understood that the car was gone through mechanically, and it easily shows on short test drive.Overall, a very well restored and sorted Bugeye Sprite in an attractive and pleasing color scheme, with adorable cheeky looks !. This car has plenty of mechanical enhancements to make it safer and more enjoyable in today's traffic. One would be hard pressed to find a better car on the market. This car is great value because of it's restoration costs, and a smart buy going forward. BELOW IS A VIDEO LINK OF THE CAR DRIVING:https://youtu.be/iVvMcLSlh18
