It was stolen from England by Alford Hitchcock for a movie in 1956 and used in movie by Universal Studios in Hollywood for years. There were three taken, One destroyed in a film, one cut apart so the camera could take inside shots and this one called the drive-by. Restored in the 70s and Has the petrol motor. In the repair manual for it that I have it says how to remove the petrol motor and install the diesel. It has several trophies from local shows. it has been driven for only short distances and runs great. The interior was redone in crushed velvet and a carpet added over the rubber mat.Used in weddings and graduations. This was the last year that Austin used the petrol motor so it is rare.
