It was distinguished mainly by a wire-mesh grille radiator instead of vertical slats. A firmer suspension offered slight handling improvements. The Eight was so popular that sales expanded from the original UK market to Europe and the United States. The Eight was introduced with cloth upholstery, steel wheels, and a mesh grille that was simpler than the slatted grille of the Mulsanne. Fuel injection and anti-lock brakes were added in 1986, leather upholstery and power memory seats were added in 1987. It was equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission. So the ’89 one had it all! This 1989 Bentley Eight has a clean carfax, and original miles of 94k. I have the original window sticker, which shows a retail price of $108,000.00 in 1989. This Bentley has power options such as Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, etc. It’s got new Avon tires, rebuilt brake calipers. Exterior The car is gray with black leather interior with red piping. It is a great color combination. Overall it has a straight body, and a solid underneath. It is in a very good condition. Interior The interior is just superior; just take a look at the photos. The black leather interior with red piping looks so fine. The dash is complete and all the gauges work as they should.
