1989 BMW 325i/is
96,500 miles
This is a beautiful example of the classic BMW E30. Spent most of it’s life as a California car. It is finished in Original Alpine White paint with a Tan interior. The body is in excellent shape for it’s age. Paint is bright although there are some scratches and small dents (no creases). All panels are original except the drivers side front fender was replaced with an OEM part and professionally painted to match. The underside is clean and shows NO RUST. I would rate the exterior an 8/10. The front SPORT seats have just been refinished with OEM covers and new padding. The rear seat is original. There is NOT A SINGLE RIP in any of the seats. The dash is believed to be original and has NO CRACKS. The headliner doesn’t sag. A rare Nardi ‘drop spoke’ steering wheel and MOMO shift knob are used. I would rate the interior a 9.5/10. All of the gauges, power windows, power sunroof work as they should. The power steering works and I’ve used a 2.7 lock-to-lock rack from a Z3. The original M20 has been replaced with a 2.5L M50 (TRM M50 chip) and paired to a 5 speed manual from and E36 and has a short shift kit. The engine installation was performed by the founder of TheDirtyThirty and the founder of Salt City Euros. It is very clean and runs like a locomotive. CA TUNED ride height adjustable and 1-way adjustable coilovers are on the corners. A RED46 skidplate has been installed to protect the oilpan. The AC was converted in 2016 and blows cold. I installed a modern Clarion radio (Bluetooth, phone, radio, USB, etc) for convenience but the working original BMW Premium Sound headunit will also be included. I found a set of period correct Zender Turbos and had them powder coated white for a sick 80’s vintage look (no spacers needed as these are correct sizes for the E30). The tires have less than 4000 miles on them. This car also has original AC Schnitzer side skirts and rear valence with no cracks. All the service since my ownership has been performed at either DXDT Racing or LYFE Motorsports. No expense has been spared. I have over $10,000 in receipts from the last two years alone. A full inspection was just performed including a leakdown test. Clean Carfax. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross-country today. It’s a great car to drive, it’s actually better than my ’89 E30 M3 and you don’t have to worry about someone scratching it. This car can be daily driven or be a great weekend canyon carver…or both! It needs nothing, just someone who will appreciate it. Will help facilitate in shipping.
Clean Utah title
I will put serious buyers in touch with the LYFE shop owner who can verify the quality of this car.
