1979 BMW 733i

Description

I'm selling my 1979 BMW 733i. I recently took a job travelling a lot so I no longer have the time I need to keep the car maintained. It is in great shape for its age.
Pink slip in hand!

• Power steering, power windows, 6 cylinder, 3-speed automatic.
• This car does great at highway speeds!
• Engine runs smooth!
• All lights work!
• Power windows all work. Sunroof works.
• New brake pads.
• Full size spare tire
• Smog passed, registration current until August 2016.

• There's a current fuel line leak that just sprang up. I recently drove it, though, over 200 miles with no issues (From LA to Palm Springs and back). I then flew out of town on a 10 day trip and came back to a leak in the fuel line somewhere.
• Brakes squeal, needs new shims. (Like I said, though, the brake pads are new, as of November 2015.)
• Heater blower motor doesn't work and needs replaced.
• Condition of the cruise control is unknown, there is a missing screw that needs to be replaced to mount the lever back onto the steering column. I usually only drive 38 miles to work so getting a new screw for the cruise control wasn't on the top of my list.
• Tire treads are good, but the tires themselves are old and should be replaced, though I've not had a problem with them.
• Steering needs aligned.
• Reverse gear doesn't catch well.
• Minor scratches, one small chip in windshield.
• Small dent in driver side door under window.

Shipping/pickup/inspection at the cost of the buyer. As there is a current fuel leak I wouldn't recommend driving it home. Pickup is best for me on or after May 21 but before May 29. I will be out of town before and after those dates due to travelling for work.
$500 deposit via PayPal within 3 days of auction close. Full amount due on or before pickup. Cash/Money Order preferred.
