Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer this true and unmolested Garage find 1982 BMW 323i. I have been in the car business since the early 80's. I cut my teeth on this era of imported cars. We sold most of the local BMW dealers' trades back then. As they were a BMW/SAAB/Volvo dealer, so we got some very interesting trades!! Those were the days when imports were the occaisional sighting, and the big three were the norm!
This 323i was one of those examples. As the One time "Gray Market" exception was alive and well, this 5 year old privately imported BMW was traded on a newer one, and of course, we purchased it immediately! My good friend Al just had to have it....so He did. He bought it from me in 1987, when just 5 years old, and used it as one of his "Dailys" up until sometime in 1992/93. He didn't drive much, so the mileage is probably close to what the odometer says, however, being a "Grey Market" import, we don't know for sure!
Al tells me it hasn't been run in 20 years or so. The common phrase "Been sitting, Ran when parked" definitely applies here. He drove it up until he didn't, and it has not been touched since. We took these photos about a month ago. We pushed it out of the garage(Yes, it's a tandem, and he also has an E30 Convertible in there), took photographs, and pushed it back in. I did not try and start, or even turn it!! It is exactly as it was when he put it away. It has keys and a clean Pa title in Al's name. Transfer from him to you.
Being sold at NO RESERVE, as he is moving, and will be selling the house. Examples like this one are unheard of! Most have over 200 Thousand miles by now, and are worn out rust buckets. This is a nice rust free(Except rear body panel above the license plate)example that can either be revived and driven as is, or could be a great start for an awesome track car. Vehicle inspections are welcome at our Showroom in Export, PA but must be completed prior to the close of the auction at the your expense. We will be happy toarrange transportation from the airport or the train station if you can provide us with your arrival schedule.

If you are planning for home or office delivery, shipping costs are your responsibility. We frequently use MoveCars.com and SundayAutoTransport.com. We have been very happy with their service. You may contact one of them directly, or call us if you need help with logistics.

We will gladly assist you with transportation arrangementsfrom the Airport or Train Station. Also, all paperwork and a 30-day Temporary Tag are provided at a nominal fee of $99.00(excluding PA & MA Residents).

We test drive the vehicles we sell. We do this as part of our vehicle quality and testing process. As a result, there may be a few more miles on it - typically only 100 to 200 - than the mileage listed above.
