1984 bmw 318i 2dr E30 coupe

Description

1984 318i M10 1.8L 4 cylinder automatic coupe with sunroof/moon roof and pop out / power front windows.

Purchased the car in May.

Salvage title- previous owner said it was from a theft recovery in 92'I am the 3rd owner from what I was told by previous owner

Drove the car maybe 200 miles because I have been waiting on wheels and other parts that were swapped out before driving it around.

Smogged and tags are up to date, passed smog without any issues or repairs.

Updated front end to 90 late model front end. I have the rear parts just needs install.

17x8.5 17x10 esm wheels

205/40/17 225/35/17 3 yokohama s drive 1 delante tires. Installed in last week of May.

Late model rear end will either be completed before sale or parts included with sale.

IS LIP

Car was lowered by previous owner with some type of coilovers. I believe the brand is Joms in the front and a different brand in the rear HYPERCo. So new shocks, and coils

Miles are unknown because cluster mile odometer does not work "apparently very common issue" from what I read on forums

Needs a valve adjustment previous owner drove it daily from San Fernando Valley city of Van Nuys to Pasadena without any mechanical issues. Ac works but needs to be recharged from what previous owner told me.

No oil leaks that I have noticed, previous owner changed master cylinder and booster, front and rear brake calipers and drums and a few other parts and regular maintenance was done.

Car runs great, 4 cylinder 1.8L runs really well . I have a feeling rear axles may need to be changed at some point but overall runs very well for a 30plus year old car.

Car is very clean typical dings from the years of use but overall very clean. Paint is decent, but will need a paint job to give it that prestine look.this is a 3rd car for me and 2nd project car and just pretty much dont have time for sourcing parts and getting the details wrapped up. In no hurry to sell. Feel free to make me an offer.

Interior, is really clean, I swapped out both driver,passenger & rear bench seats, old ones were decent, but I found a better set so swapped them out. dash however, does have cracks. Everything is functional from what I can tell even tape player works.
