I have a 1989 BMW 325I E30 Convertible for sale. Besides some cosmetic issues and a few other problems listed below, it’s a great car. Drives great and is fun to drive with the top down. With some work it can be a great collector’s item.
The Good:
-Cranks quickly
-Top lowers easily.
-Wheels are in good condition
-Tires still have a lot of tread left
-Fresh oil change
-New clutch master cylinder
-New slave cylinder
-New ICV
-New TPS
-New blower motor
-Reconditioned the leather seats
-Carpet is clean
-Interior looks good
-Shifts well
-Handles well
-Brakes work great
-Water pump replaced in February
-Vacuum hoses replaced in February
-Headlights work
-Blinkers work
-Includes an entire heater core assembly
-Side view mirrors work great
-All windows work great
-Interior light works great
-Engine is in very good condition, very clean as well.
-New BMW blue coolant
-New thermostat
-Front seats are in perfect condition
The Bad:
-The odometer does not work
-The MPG meter does not work
-Engine light is on
-Idles at 1,200 RPM, I think the TPS needs to be calibrated
-Convertible top has cracks in rear windshield
-Dash has crack
-Passenger door has crack on the interior
-Back seats need reupholstered
-Paint is dinged up a bit
-Some body panels are a little greyer than the rest
-AC may or may not work, the fuse is melted
-Heater core needs replaced, new one is included with car
