Description

Up for sale is my 1991 BMW 318is E30. The car has been well taken care of and is really wonderful to drive. In 1991 the car was purchased new in Florida where it was for most of it's life.
The owner before me installed a very high quality set of German made coil overs and Bilstein shocks. The car handles great and is smooth. I did raise the rear slightly to reduce the chance of bottoming on the large wheels/tires. The wheels are authentic OEM BMW Style 5 wheels with excellent sport tires that have less than 500 miles on them. The car has recently had a new water pump and heater core installed as well. (limited service records provided) You will find the car has OEM BMW Amber lights. No they are not stickers they are very desirable authentic amber lenses. M-Tech 1 steering wheel (original not reproduction) M-Tech knobs and skirts from Germany. The original sport seats were recovered with authentic BMW seat covers. The seat covers are for the M3 or convertable, but I much prefer this look. The door cards were also replaced at one time, they are in great shape. Rarely will you EVER find an E30 with a crack free dash. This car has a 100% crack free perfect OEM BMW dashboard ($750 + instal).
The M42 DOHC engine runs great, always starts instantly and has not been modified except for an aftermarket exhaust pipe and muffler (that is NOT loud). The car does have the desirable differential, bumpers, and engine. Due to living in Florida the car did have some sun fading and the owner before me did have the car professionally re-painted at some point. The paint job is very professional and good, but not original paint. Of course for a car of it's age there are a few small scratches/blemishes here and there, but you must search them out. I would rate the exterior 8/10 and interior 9/10.The car drives excellent and I did take it on a 800 mile road trip last summer. The radio works great and has bluetooth that you can sync to your phone. The manual sunroof works perfectly, but the liner card of the sunroof is missing. The power windows do work, but the drivers window is sometimes intermittent. I believe there must be a bad ground wire.
I really love the car, but have too many cars and not enough space. I am willing to work with any shipping/trucking company. Due to the nature of selling a classic car, the car is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Title is free and clear. I stand by my word on the condition of the car and will answer any questions you have. You are also welcome to view the car anytime in Fargo, North Dakota. Within 24 hours of auction ending a non refundable PayPal deposit of $1000 must be placed. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or wire transfer within 7 days. I really think the owner will enjoy this car and it deserves to be driven, I just haven't had the time to enjoy it and would like the space. Let me know if you have any questions!
Thank You!
