Description

This is the fourth listing of this car, as I have not had any buyers come through on it. I would like only serious buyers to contact me or bid. Thank you.
For sale is this rare (1 out of 20,000 produced)BMW 850i equipped with a 5.0 liter V12 300 BHP M70 engine. The vehicle's drive train is in excellent condition. The engine and transmission work smoothly under full acceleration. No check engine lights or warnings. Nearly zero rust on this car makes it an exceptional model for fully restoring (especially considering the lower miles). The transmission has been flushed with the filter changed, as well as an oil change in the last few hundred miles. The car feels amazing to drive, and is ready for you to take it onto the road immediately.

The exterior of the vehicle is in fair condition, and could use a new paint job and a few dings straightened out here and there. The current paint job is not the original paint, as the car was originally white and poorly painted by a previous owner. Both headlights fold up and work perfectly fine, but will require new brights to be installed. The headlights also have two screws in each one, fastened by a previous owner. All turning lights, fog lights, brake lights, and reverse lights work, making this vehicle ready to drive and street legal.
The interior of the vehicle is in fair condition as well, and will need some attention to look nice again. The headliner is coming down, and both C pillar panels are missing from the back. The seats are worn out as to be expected. A trim piece and screw are missing from the driver's side door, and there are a few small cracks in the interior plastics here and there. The radio is locked and will require a code to be retrieved before use. The OBC LCD has gone out, like many other 850s. The power seats all work great, except for the driver's side headrest, which does not move vertically as it should. This vehicle is equipped with a car phone, and shows little signs of use. The transmission selector lever indicator does not work on the mechanism itself, however it does work perfectly electrically, displaying your gear on the dashboard. The carpet is in decent condition, and could use some light cleaning.
The sunroof operates, but will require servicing to be fully functional. The sunroof does not leak, however it does not come back completely straight and needs aligned and properly serviced.
The trunk shocks do not work, and the 6-disc changer is missing from the back. The tool-kit needs a new plastic fastener, but that is a very easy and cheap fix that you shouldn't worry about.
The exhaust system sounds great, and has zero leaks. There is on a small amount of rust on the muffler casing, but not on the muffler itself. The car is super stealthy and quiet, just as it came from the factory.
The engine compartment is fairly clean, but there does appear to be a bit of old oil or power steering fluid on some of the components. There are no noticeable leaks from the power steering or engine, no oil drips or hydraulic fluid leaking onto the ground.
Besides some cosmetic work that this vehicle requires, it is a low-mileage, fast, fun, beautiful and rare BMW 850i, and it will be sure to consume plenty of your time on the road, and plenty of time in conversation. This is an amazing vehicle to own, I know you won't be disappointed by this purchase! Buy it now before it is gone, and buy it before the price sky-rockets soon!
