1958 BMW Isetta 250

For sale is a rare 1958 BMW Isetta 250.I don't know much about these cars but here is what i do know.The outside of the body looks solid but has lots of small dents and dings.The only place i see rust is the battery box has rusted out very common problem.The floor by the steering and pedal box has some small rust holes and the inside of the door frame has one spot of rust.everything else looks solid.This can all be seen in photos.The car is a project and will need a complete restoration.The frame is in very good condition with no rust.The car is mostly complete but it does have some missing parts.All of the glass and the aluminum trim around the bottom of glass is missing.It was stolen where i had the car stored.Most of the brake system is missing.Thats about all i know thats missing. The previous owner removed the engine to rebuild it but all he got done was to take it apart and clean the engine case and oil pan.The two front wheels and tires are new but not correct they are only good for rolling the car around to work on it.The wheels were modified to fit the Isetta and are not safe to drive.The rear wheels are the correct 2 piece split rims.The rear tires hold air for awhile long enough to roll on and off a trailer.What you see in the photos is what you get.look them over good before bidding.I have a clear Michigan title in my name.The car is sold as is where is.
