Description

This car has been in my family since the day it was purchased new off the lot. It was always our 3rd car and was rarely driven over the years. We always had a local shop here in California maintain the vehicle. Oil changes were done every 3,000-4,000 miles. I have the original title ready to sign over to the new owner.

The car is all original except for the the wheels and the stereo head unit. We purchased these wheels new from the local BMW dealership when we bought the car. I no longer have the original wheels.

Currently the drivers window has an issue with going up. It goes down fine but only sometimes will go back up. The car is missing the tape storage box in the center console as well as the rear ashtray. It needs tires before it is driven any significant distance. A very, very short trip is fine on these tires. The steering wheel leather is ripped on the top as shown in the pictures. The only rust on the entire car is two tiny little spots under the front grills that could probably be buffed out. I’ve added a picture to show these two spots. The underside of the car is 100% rust free. The dash has a few cracks in it from sitting in the California sun over the years. The car was backed into on the passenger side (shown in pictures). Way back when this car had 22,000 miles on it, we brought it to our regular shop for an oil change. The mechanic mistakenly wrote the mileage down as 23,000 miles. The next time the car was serviced the correct mileage was noted. This shows on the Carfax as a mileage discrepancy when in-fact it shows the real true milage on the cluster.

Unfortunately, we never kept the maintenance records in the past. I recently had the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, oil changed and coolant flushed. One small vacuum hose was replaced going to the fuel regulator because it has a small crack in it.

If you have any questions about the car please let me know. Thanks.
