This 1988 BMW IX E30 is in good shape. It is the much desired dark charcoal black with a grey interior. It is a five speed, all wheel drive, sun roof, power windows, locks and air conditioning. The interior is near perfect and the dash has no cracks. It is a sport model with the special seats and steering wheel. It has 15 inch basket weave wheels with Pirelli P600 on them.
The motor has 253,000 miles and runs good. It recently had a timing belt service. It has the typical rust at the bottom of the rear wheel wells. It will need the spring perches rebuilt. It is not a bad fix and is common on the all wheel drive early BMWs. There are a couple of other very minor rust areas.
The PO removed part of the exhaust. The rest of the car seems good.
I had the car examined by awell known BMW expert in NH. His 15 year old son wanted it. He did not take it because he too has too many projects that are going to Pebble Beach or Amelia Island, but he did say it is a car worth saving and not parting out. I have considered that option but there are too few of these to trash. The car runs but will need to be trailered.
I do have a valid title. I am available to answer further questions.
