Description

I purchased this car from a seller/collector in California. He stated the he had bought the car off of a man who's mother passed away after barely driving the vehicle. I drove the car 4 hours back to Las Vegas from LA with no problems and had every intention of keeping it for my entire life. However, life situations have made it impractical for me to hang on to it.
The good:- ONLY 64,000 miles with a clean title!
- The car runs and was my daily driver until I purchased a Prius to drive for Uber in October of last year.- The interior is in good condition for it's age with most of the upholstery intact (see pictures)- Currently has 5 series premium wheels, but I have the original wheels with tires as well- I have original documentation, including owners manual and sale brochure- Very straight body with great paint and minimal rust spots (see picture)
The bad:- The power windows currently do not work (the front windows are stuck in the up position while the back ones are stuck in the down position). I replaced the fuses but it seems to be the door motors in the interior of the door panels. I researched the problem and many forums state that it is common for this model (due to internal fuses in the motors) in places with heat (I live in Las Vegas)- The headliner is drooping and the headliner light is missing (see picture)- The original radio is missing- The trunk light bulb and lens are missing- The car currently has a upgraded spark plugs, however the wires are loose on these plugs. I've attempted to find the correct wires/plug set for this car but it seems that I would need to place an adapter on the distributor in this case- After starting the car periodically to keep the fuel flowing, it developed a fuel leak from the hose directly under the fuel tank. I believe this hose may be the original hose. I haven't had the time to fix it- The car occasionally over heats. After much review I believe this to be a minor crack in the head gasket (the coolant is milky, however no smoke out the back and therefore no coolant in the combustion chamber). I've replace the auxiliary fan switch, therefore I believe the problem to be mechanical and not electrical. I purchase a replacement gasket and coolant tank that I will sell with the car.- Very minor dent to the front right corner from previous accident (see picture)
This car is not showroom status but could easily be restored to so, given the time and work. I am a pre-med student and between working, volunteering, getting married next year, and applying to medical school, I lack the appropriate resources to keep this car. I hate to sell it but I'm hoping it will go to a good home. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional pictures.
