NO RESERVE AUCTION
TITLE HAS BEEN LOST
History: I purchased this early numbers matching 1972 2002tii recently. I felt it would be a great restoration project since it was a numbers matching car in a great factory paint color (Riviera Blue). I found out that the title has been lost and while I do have a bill of sale from the previous owner; applying for a new title in California on an out of state vehicle is quite a bit of work. I have decided to sell the project. For additional pictures please click on then link below. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I can help arrange out of state or overseas shipping.

This car was delivered to Hoffman Motor Corp in New York on December 21st 1972. Its original color was Riviera Blue Color code 036.
VIN: 2760216
Engine Number: 2760216
Color Code: 036 Riviera Blue
Exterior: This car shows no signs of any accidents. It has the original tii front nose, appears to have all of the original doors, fenders etc. This car does have rust. It has rust in the spare tire whel, the rear shock towers, rockers, and other areas underneath. This car received a full repaint in Schwarz black in the past however you can still see its original Riviera blue paint peeking through in some areas. The painter even went through the effort to put a Schwarz color code sticker on the car after the repaint.
Interior: The interior to this car is original and in decent shape. The original dash has been replaced with newer one. This car is fitted with a vintage MOMO Jackie Icxx steering wheel
Engine/Transmission: This car still has the original numbers matching engine. I was told this engine was rebuilt in 2006. This engine is missing the Kugelfischer injector pump and injectors. This car did originally come with them, but they were for a 74tii so I decided to sell them. The transmission appears to be the original 4spd unit. This car still has the original plastic intake runners, throttle body and other tii components. The engine has the correct tii distributor, exhaust manifold and bigger brake booster.
Wheels/Suspension: This car still has all of the original tii suspension. 3 of the wheels are 14” Alpina look alike and one is a 13” Alpina look alike.
Overall: This would be a great chance to purchase one of the first tii’s made. It would be a great car to restore to its original color Riviera blue.
