1991 BMW 8-Series 850i Coupe

Description

This 1991 BMW 850i was sold new in California. The car remained in California for many years until it finally made its way to the northwest and Washington state. The car has been garaged throughout its life. The 5.0 L V12 was originally rated at 296 hp and is paired to a 5 speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in anthracite black, contrasted by a set of 18" silver BMW M/ Parallel wheels. Staggered Michelin tires are fitted front and rear. The 8-Series had a drag coefficient of 0.29, substantially lower than the 0.39cd of the earlier 6 series. The interior is finished in black leather. The radio, power seat functions, heated seats, and heater controls all work as they should. Photos show the condition of the interior and leather seating surfaces. Some service records from early in the car's life are available and the owners manual show these. Recent work on the vehicle from sitting in storage include, new heater core, heater control valve, water pump and thermostat, dried out fuel lines and gas tank gaskets have also been replaced, new steering control arms, tie rod ends, front brake rotors and pads, oil and filters have been changed. The EDC suspension works correctly. The car has 2 issues that are known, the anti lock brake light is on,(unknown cause), and the fabric has fallen off the sunroof. The sunroof itself is still fully functional.
