Description
My collection of four 1957 Isetta 300 coupes - including 7 XL totes of new and used parts for restoration:
Car 1 - Two tone deluxe body (trim separating colors); body is sandblasted/ready for body work (rust repair) and then paint. Floor has been cut out and a new floor section with battery box is setting inside. Frame beneath is fully restored and includes an original BMW rebuilt engine and transmission, complete and bolted in. Final drive is in and setting on reconditioned rims and new tires. Needs one front strut installed (included in parts box). Brakes have been redone. Comes with all glass, trim, door, seat frames, linkages, dash, and most parts to restore. Inside the car is a new chrome exhaust pipe complete with heater box, several sets of linkage, body trim, widow trim, gas tank, and unrestored nerf bars bumpersCar 2 - Yellow body with some of the interior still in place. Needs battery box and some rust & dent repair, but much less than 1st Car. Probably the easiest of all the bodies to restore. Front door is still installed, set of all window glass and most parts to restore are included. The frame beneath is a Chadwick unit - needs some dressing up but is in great shape and very low use. Inside the car is the seat, steering wheel, dash, linkages, an old front bumper (rough) and a new front bumper (chrome), sunroof hardware, a (very hard to find) original rear package shelf rack set, gas tank, and other miscellaneous. Original floor has been replaced by previous owner. Car 3 - Blue car - roller, looks mostly complete. Was told it was "running" when parked but looks pretty rough…
