This 1993 BMW 850Ci is powered by a 5.0-liter V12 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and finished in Laguna Green Metallic over Parchment leather. We acquired the car from its previous owner of 18 years, and subsequent work in March 2019 included replacement of the water pump, thermostat, tensioner pulleys, hoses, belts, and other items as well as servicing the transmission and differential.This E31 shows 127k miles and is offered with an invoice from the recent service, tools, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title.
The body panels are finished in Laguna Green Metallic (Lagunengruen 266), and no accidents or other damage are noted on the Carfax report. Transparent protective film has been applied over the nose. A new rear BMW emblem, wiper blades, and taillight bulbs were fitted in March 2018.
Factory wheels have been replaced with 17″ BBS RKs wrapped in Toyo tires. The service in March 2019 included installation of four new brake hoses, a brake master cylinder grommet, and new fluid.
The interior is trimmed in Parchment Nappa leather and features equipment including a sunroof, an electrically-adjustable steering column with memory, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and remote central locking. The factory stereo has been replaced with an Alpine head unit, and custom floor mats have been added.
Instrumentation consists of a 190-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a digital odometer showing just under 127k miles. The driver’s seat adjustment is said to be noisy, while the passenger seat shifts off kilter.
The 5.0-literM70 V12 was rated at 300 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new, and sends power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Service completed in March 2019 included replacing the water pump, thermostat, coolant, hoses, tensioner pulleys, belts, and more as detailed on an invoice in the gallery. Changes of the engine oil, transmission fluid, and differential fluid were also completed.
The Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and shows history in Texas and Colorado through its most recent entry in March 2019.
