Its a five speed!! And mostly stock OEM
All numbers matching BMW never wrecked all VIN stickers on all panels matching!
This BMW was just serviced at a BMW Dealer and $3,500 was spent on repairs in the last couple months
Work completed was:
New wheel bearings on 3 of the wheels, both front wheels and passenger side rear
New stock shocks and mounts on the rear Bilstein stock "is" shocks
New clutch master cylinder
New engine mounts, both sides
New antena gasket
New leveling coolant switch
New hoses
New intake boot oem
AC Fixed ice cold
Oil changed
New wiper blades
New fuel filter
Tune up
Diff servicedEtc!
The bad:
We have the stock radio. It turns on plays tapes but the sound is really crackly and sounds real bad. We were told it could be the radio or the amp. We were going to get the radio repaired for 200 dollars but have not yet. We would need to mail to a radio repair place in California. The radio is included with the car.
The car could use a timing belt its a couple years old its not making any sounds but we would replace soon. Clutch was replaced awhile ago works great no slippage.
The front struts should be replaced that was next on the list to do along with getting the seats recovered.
The car rides great down the road and we just took it on a road trip 100 miles no problems
This is a drivers E30!!! This car want to be driven!!! AC is working great runs great ready for you to enjoy and drive!!
The 1986 and 1987 BMW 325is is as close as you can get to an E30 M3. This car looks great and in many minds better looking then the 88 and up E30 IMO. Very classy and true 80s power same tail lights as the M3 1988 and up are not! The chrome bumpers are in pretty good shape, the front "is" lip could use some repair and some fog lights installed which I do not have. Could use new chrome around the front and rear windows which is common.
Sunroof works great and no leaks!
Also the guy before me put an E36 M3 muffler on it. It was vibrating some so I had it repaired at the exhaust shop. Sounds great and works great. It is an upgrade if you look on the forums sound good too not loud at all.
We had plans on restoring this car that is why we just put 3500 into it. We need a bigger car and that is the only reason we are selling it!!!
We searched for a while to find this car most E30s are full of rust and this one is not!
