1988 bmw 325i convertible
Description
We just had a baby and I need something more practical.
I've owned this car for just over a year and use it as my daily driver. It's my second E30 and it's been great. The 5 speed shifts smooth but could use new bushings, though not necessary to drive the car.
The previous owner replaced:- The dash and gauge cluster (speedo and tach were inoperable) so the miles are not accurate. No cracks in the dash.- The entire exhaust.- The timing belt, which is a pain to change by yourself (speaking from experience).- A new top on the car, refinished the interior and generally took really good care of the car.- I put new tires on the rear and the spare on 8/13/16- It has an aftermarket CD player with an aux jack on the face.- I replaced the brake master cylinder when I bought it, the brakes were a little spongy before I fixed it. They work great now.- Heated seats.
Very rare and I couldn't believe it when I bought the car but, it has all the original floor mats.5 speed manual.Apparently 266,000 miles but nowhere close to giving up.
It has some dents in the drivers side door.
Oil always changed with 20w50.
I cannot stress how important it is to use thick oil especially in Texas.
