1991 BMW 318is E30

1991 BMW 318is. For sale is a real BMW 318is Car looks and runs great. Very good condition and owned by a longtime BMWCCA member. This is the nicest E30 I have owned and was the best and last of the solid E30 line. Only made for one year and called the poor man’s M3. Values are rising. Rare and desirable color combination of Diamond Schwartz black exterior with tan vinyl interior. Runs great and you can drive anywhere. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. This M42 fuel injected 4 cylinder engine is peppy, runs great does not have timing belt issue to worry about like the 6 cylinder engine.

The good: Very nice driver. Reasonable miles 155,460. Almost everything works including power windows, lights, blinkers, horn, sunroof, power mirrors, fog lights, glass, wipers, locks, horn, and gauges. No rust. Perfect interior with very rare Recaro sports seats with no rips or tears. Rear spoiler and front spoiler. Perfect dash with no cracks. Smooth clutch and transmission. Never runs hot or overheats. Four wheel disc brakes work fine with new Aeroquip brake hoses. New Bilstein touring shocks on all four wheels. Nice BBS basket weave wheels with four matching radial tires and center caps. Full size BBS spare and all tools and jack. Exhaust is fine. New floor mats. Includes full Bavarian Auto car cover. All fluids recently changed. Air conditioner actually works fine and blows cold after switched to R134.

The bad:In 2012 the car had minor hit in front passenger corner resulting in insurance company totaling vehicle. (See picture of only accident damage) Salvage title but proper repairs made and car has been fully inspected and rebuilt Florida title in hand. Where repainted paint in front of car is very slightly different color than the rest of car. Air bag did not deploy. Radio not hooked up but it is a real BMW CM5908 with no code. Small crack in rear bumper cover. Paint a little faded on roof and trunk but not pealing. Driver door lock sticking.

I have tried to be as accurate as I can. This is a fun and great driving car.
