Up for sale is this Stunning 1972 Buick Skylark. It's a 2 owner car from new and was always garage kept. This a an excellent example of a Rust Free Convertible. A full Cosmetic restoration was just complete on this car . It is showroom new and ready to be enjoyed. It's highly detailed from top to bottom. It's an Original numbers matching car with an Original interior and showing only 16 k miles.
The Color is Stunning. The Cortez Gold paint is Stunning and show's very well. Its super glossy and has nearly no imperfections only a few minor chips touched up along the door. There are no paint bubbles or blisters anywhere. The body is laser straight and all the chrome is like new. The white convertible top is power and goes up and down easily. The top's condition is like new as well. No rips or tears and it has a boot to cover it when down.
The interior is all Original and still looks excellent. The carpet is excellent, the door panels are also very nice and the boot for the top is like new. The dash is original and in great condition and everything is working properly. Ice cold ai, hea, and Power top complete the interiors functions. I replaced the rubber seals along the top and also on the side . They are all new.
The under carriage on this car is what will sell everyone. Its spotless and show worthy. All the suspension is New . New shocks, spring, tie rods etc. Exhaust is all new and sounds great. The Frame is like new and is painted black . Also the gas tank is all new.The trunk is like new as well . I dont see any metal every welded . It all looks original and spotless . There is not much to say about it's appearance other then its a Beautiful car and gets attention everywhere it goes. The color combo is awesome.
Mechanically she is super sound. The car fires right up and runs super smooth. It has the original H code 350 4 barrel motor and automatic transmission that shifts flawless. The engine bay looks like new. There is nothing rusty or leaking. The fender wells are solid and look like new. It looks absolutely originally in every way including the factory ac which is all original and Ice cold. The engine oil was just changed along with new coolant in the radiator. The tires are brand new and are on Staggered Original Magnum wheels. The Rims are perfect. It has a am/fm Cassette radio and you will notice the New steering wheel that was added. I have the original one and it comes with the car. When driving the car you will notice how smooth it is and how tight the suspension is . It truly hold's the road amazing and I would drive this car anywhere.
So spring is here and these car's are not easy to find . The previous owner spent a lot of money on making it the best one out there and it show's . This is not a car full of Bondo or hiding any flaws. This car is truly Original and very solid and a stunning example of how a car this old should look. I promise who ever buys this car will be very happy and truly proud to own this car. It's ready to take to the show's or just cruise anywhere.
