1971 Buick GS
Description
Extremely rare GS 4-speed in a convertible only 78 made! Very desirable colors and options too. Believed to be a Stage-1 but cannot be proven or disproven. It does have H in Vin # which is required for a Stage-1. Has correct 71-72 455 engine with performance rebuild. Has #s matching Muncie trans. 3.90 position rear with aluminum finned Buick brakes. Has F-41 suspension. We purchased this car from a mechanic in southern Florida. The car runs functions and performs really well. Upgraded aluminum radiator keeps it cool. Working cold a/c. Great sounding custom exhaust and headers. New chrome 15 inch Buick mags on BFG tires. It certainly is a good looker too. Beautiful glossy blue paint against completely replaced white interior and top. New carpet and GS mats. All new weatherstrips window seals and windshield. New chrome bumpers emblems door handles and stainless trim is polished. Door jambs have a smooth shiny finish. Engine compartment is detailed and dressed up with some extra chrome. Trunk compartment is restored and has jack spare and liner. A 4-speed GS is extremely rare by itself. If this can be proven to be an original Stage-1 it would be worth 6 figures. Regardless it is still an awesome driver! 455 with a 4-speed a/c in a sharp convertible. Awesome.
