Description

Garage Find 1969 Buick Wildcat 430 4bbl. Turbo 400 Automatic transmission. 12 bolt Posi, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Steering Wheel, A/C, AZ Car

This car is a rare, original 1969 Wildcat 4dr. hardtop that runs and drives and is currently registered and insured. The body is straight and the chrome and floors, frame hood and trunk lid are very clean, The glass is good and all of the lights, electrics work. Brakes are good and it steers straight.

The car had a vinyl roof replacement in the mid 90’s and they did a bad job with the prep causing the roof to rust under the top, there multiple holes in the outer metal top skin. I have been told it can be fixed by patching it. It also has slight rust in the trunk, its through at the rear trunk seam. The front fenders have a bit of rust at the bottom too. But the floors, hood, chrome and frame are clean. The car is pretty straight other than a few scrapes. The bottom of the seats and headliner along with the visors could be redone. The car sat for awhile and now has a slight chug off idle. The car runs smooth at idle but then has a slight chug after you hit the gas. I think it’s a spark plug wire. My guess is that a simple tune up would fix this as it did not do this before. It drives well though and goes down the highway with ease. It steers well and has good brakes. The car is currently registered and insured. The A/C needs to be charged. The power antenna is broken, the passenger rear door does not open and one marker light is out. I am selling as I have too many projects.
