1963 Buick Special 2 door sedan Original California Car
Description
1963 Buick Special 2 door sedan. Clean and clear California title in my name. Currently registered Non-Op. Has been garaged for 30 years. Currently not running. I am in the process of trying to get it running but cannot guarantee it will beoperational before auction end. Trying to make it operational to load on a transporter under it's own power. Brakes and cooling system will need to be gone through. Oil has been changed, motor does turn over by hand. New 13" tires have been installed. These arethe original4 lug steel wheels.
Frame and underside of body are completely dry, solid, rust free. The worst of the surface rustwas on the trunk lid, hood and cowl vent. I've sanded some spots since these pictures have been taken and it's come off easily, not very deep into the metal. Trunk lid corner is rusted through as well as parts of the trunk gutter. Trunk floor is solid, rust free. Although carpet is worn out on driver side, the front and rear floors are solid. I've sourced a replacement trunk lid and cowl vent that come with the car. I've already replaced the cowl vent. The doors open and close easily. The windows roll down easily, like new. Small crack on windshield on lower passenger side.Spare tire and jack still in the trunk. Headliner is still intact, not sagging.
I have the original sales receipts, registration forms, etc.from the Buick dealer in Walnut Creek, CA dealer license plate frames, original keys.
